A family holiday in the paradise of Phuket with its own very busy airport.

Viewing from the domestic terminal airside is extremely limited. You can see more airside in the international terminal but not the executive or Royal Thai Navy ramps.

We stayed at a hotel in Nai Yang which is nearby but even then it’s a 1.8 mile walk up the road and then Mai Khao beach. It’s very hard work in the heat! You can get a tuck-tuck for half the way but you’ve still to walk the beach where there’s no facilities and no shade in the afternoon. You still can’t see all the ramps but you’ll see everything that moves.
